Terms of service

The terms an organisation's account runs under. Short, because the things worth saying are few.

  1. The agreement is with an organisation

Superhuman AI provides AI Coach to organisations under a written agreement. These terms sit alongside that agreement; where the two differ, the agreement is what governs.

Individuals cannot sign up. An account is created with a customer, and their administrator decides who inside it has one.

  2. What the customer is responsible for

The scenarios, the characters, the job roles and the scoring criteria in an account are written by the customer. They own that content and are responsible for it.

Administrators are responsible for who they give accounts to and for what they assign them.

  3. What we are responsible for

Running the service, keeping each customer's data in its own database in the country they named, and not using their content for anything other than serving them.

We do not train models on customer content, and we do not read transcripts in the course of running the service.

  4. What the product is not

It is practice. A score is a coaching signal produced by a language model against criteria the customer wrote — it is not an assessment of a person's competence, and it should not be the basis of an employment decision on its own.

The characters are fiction. Any resemblance to a real customer of the organisation using it is the author's doing, not ours.

  5. Availability and limits

Each account has an hourly limit on live calls, agreed with the customer, because a live call costs real money to run and an unbounded one is a bill nobody chose.

We do not promise uninterrupted service. Planned changes are deployed continuously; a customer with a maintenance window can ask for one.

  6. Ending it

A customer can end their agreement under its own terms. When they do, their data is exported for them and their database is destroyed.

We can suspend an account that is being used to harass somebody, to impersonate a real person, or in a way that breaks the law where the customer operates.
